Background

The NFD offer a number of educational scholarships to deaf/hearing impaired students, who are New Zealand citizens and permanent residents, and to those working with deaf, and hearing impaired people.

Purpose: To assist deaf New Zealanders studying at tertiary level.

Eligibility

  • Hearing loss of 60dB or more in the better ear.
  • NZ citizens or permanent residents.
  • Attending a recognised post-secondary institution.
