What do you enjoy about teaching/your job?
Knowing that I have contributed a little to someone’s education, and made a difference.
What do you love about your area?
Keeping up with changes in technology. The media industry, i.e. journalism, public relations and advertising, is a constantly changing environment, and upskilling keeps me current.
Tell us about your experience in the industry
I started my working life in London in the publishing industry for Haymarket Publishing. It was a long time ago, but some things, such as writing, editing and proofreading have not changed much, although the technology has.
What keeps you busy outside of Media Arts?
I am lucky to have a house in Raglan. I hope to retire there, but it gives me inspiration and relaxation, and an opportunity to live the beach life I love.
