Jermaine Pati presenting at Ramp Festival

Ramp International Festival of Music, Media, Arts and Design

Ramp Festival of Music, Media, Arts & Design, is a week-long arts festival we hold on campus. It's a celebration of contemporary arts, media, music and design that brings creative minds from New Zealand and around the globe together.

How is Ramp valuable for your students?

Your students will hear directly from industry professionals at the top of their game. They will be privy to tips and tricks that can offer insight into creative industry career pathways. Students also get the chance to sign up for workshops and meet these successful creatives face to face.

How is Ramp a worthwhile event for teachers and their professional development?

Come along for your own professional development, be inspired, and spend the day (or week) with other like minded creatives. Gain knowledge of current industry practices to take back to your classroom.

What subject areas would benefit most from attending Ramp Festival?

Art, English, Media Studies, Music and Technology. These are all areas that would benefit significantly from the festival experience. Students will hear from speakers from a wide range of industries including, music, graphic design, design, architecture, interior design and journalism. The festival encourages learners to be open-minded to interdisciplinary creative practice.

Can I pick and choose what I attend?
