Four Waikato leaders in the fields of media arts, sport, science and health will receive honorary awards from Wintec for their longstanding contribution to their respective industries. They are Liam Messam, Susie Ryan, Te Radar and Dr Peter Robinson.

Since 1924, we have been a solid presence in the Waikato. The milestones we've reached and will continue to achieve is embedded in our history and celebrated around the region. We have come a long way since then but just imagine all that we can still do in the next coming years.
Māori at Wintec
The Māori culture and heritage is reflected in us and in what we do. From our marae and our Māori Achievement Unit to support services like Te Kete Kōnae (TKK), our environment nurture Maori ways of knowing and being in order to see successful outcomes.

Wintec is now an official testing venue for an English language test designed to support healthcare professionals in gaining professional registration and employment.
