About

I’m originally from Whitley Bay in the Northeast of England, but moved to NZ in 2004. I have been a language teacher for almost forty years and have worked in the UK, Japan, Spain and NZ. I was an IELTS examiner and a  CELTA trainer for a number of years and still really enjoy teacher training when opportunities arise, for example I ran a train-the-trainer programme in Thailand for Wintec. Outside work, my passions are studying French, travel, woodwork and gardening.
