About
With nearly 30 years of teaching experience, I’m a primary-trained educator who has taught across a variety of settings, including ESL and bilingual classrooms. For the past two decades, I’ve focused on supporting high school students with diverse learning needs, helping low achievers and special needs learners find confidence and success. Outside the classroom, I’m married with two grown children and enjoy life on our small farm, a place that keeps me grounded, curious, and constantly learning.

What do you enjoy about teaching/your job?
I am inspired by the commitment of many of the students I teach. They have come through so much to make a new life for themselves and their families in a different part of the world.
What do you love about your area?
I enjoy the current flexibility to do what I feel is in the best interests of my students in terms of topic and content. I am supported in this by colleagues with a huge range of experience and expertise.
