What is it all about?
This will give you a taste of what a career in health can offer you.
Experience a range of nursing activities in the Wintec Centre for Health and Social Practice simulated learning environment. During the day you will find out about the changing role of the nurse.
You will also learn about what studying occupational therapy or midwifery involves and a little about some of the diverse areas of practice you could work in, with an opportunity to talk to lecturers and ask any questions. You will also learn which subjects at secondary school will assist your application to the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Midwifery and Bachelor of Occupational Therapy programmes.
What to bring/wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing – jandals not permitted.
