About the programme
Rev up your employment opportunities by studying the NZ Motor Industry. This course will give you fast-track access to a range of ever-changing and exciting automotive-related careers.
The course includes an introduction to basic light vehicle servicing, protecting and diagnosing vehicle electronic system faults (using up-to-date testing equipment) with modern vehicles, braking system componentry diagnosis and service, fault identification and the repairing of modern vehicle wiring systems, battery testing and charging procedures, headlight adjustment and repairs.

Entry criteria: To move on to Year 2 you will need to have completed 80% of the available credits in year one, and 100% of the available credits relating to your chosen year two module. Candidates who do not meet this may be accepted at the discretion of the WTA.
