What is it all about?
This is a great introduction to tertiary study in the hospitality field, providing real insight into a career in this fast-paced and exciting industry. Students will experience what it's like to be a Wintec student on campus and get a taste of the day-to-day running of a kitchen as they prepare an assortment of dishes.

In 2020, other than the previously listed courses and tasters, we may have the capacity to be able to provide schools with support in a more flexible way to suit a particular STAR programme.

What to bring/wear?
Students will be working in our trainee commercial kitchens. They must wear long pants, have leather-topped shoes, hair is to be tied back, no facial jewellery or other jewellery is to be worn.
