What is it all about?
This 5-day taster experience will guide you through the theory and practise of espresso coffee preparation. You will study the "ins and outs" of being a barista in our Windows Restaurant barista laboratory. You will gain an understanding of commercial espresso coffee equipment and make popular drinks with it while being supervised. You can earn credits for unit standard 17285 after successfully completing the course.
What to bring and/or wear?
You will be working in our trainee commercial kitchens and will need to:
- Wear long pants,
- have leather-topped shoes,
- hair is to be tied back, and
- have no facial jewellery or other jewellery on.
