Prepare and cook basic pasta dishes in a commercial kitchen



What's it all about?

This course is both practical and theory based and is a great introduction to tertiary study in the cookery field. It provides the necessary skills and knowledge to safely prepare and serve food as well as identify food contamination hazards and methods of control. Any food prepared and cooked by the students will be available for them to take home.

In 2020, other than the previously listed courses and tasters, we may have the capacity to be able to provide schools with support in a more flexible way to suit a particular STAR programme.

What to bring / wear?

Students will be working in our trainee commercial kitchens, they must wear long pants, have leather topped shoes, hair to be tied back, no facial jewellery or other jewellery to be worn​​.​
