Background

New Horizons for Women Trust: Hine Kahukura has been supporting women to achieve their objectives via education, research and personal growth for over 30 years.

The Awards benefit women who are continuing or coming back to a tertiary level qualification or trade training, and who may not have had the most straightforward path to education.

New Horizons administer an annual awards programme in the way of sponsored financial support to assist women with the costs associated with committing to education.

The awards are aimed at the women who have overcome challenges in their lives, who have persevered and who have shown dedication and strength in their journey to education, training or self-development. These women will enable whanau and community to thrive.
