Health Services

The Hamilton City clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm. We are here to support you; however, please do not come into the city clinic.

Please note, the Rotokauri clinic is closed.

As New Zealand is now operating at Level 4, the following changes to how you access your medical care will apply:

  • All appointment requests or requests for medical advice, repeat prescriptions should be made by phone, 07 834 8869, or email,
  • Repeat prescriptions will be faxed to a pharmacy of your choice
  • Alternative appointment methods will be offered to patients – ie telephone consultations
  • NO face to face appointments will be available without firstly being triaged by a Nurse or GP
  • All non-essential services such as health screening and other screening programs are ceased
  • We are still able to provide eligible registered patients with a funded flu vaccination

If you are registered with Wintec Health Services, we will support your health needs from wherever you are now based in the country. We will be able to make sure you have the medications you need and connect you with one of our nurses by phone for advice.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, take care and stay safe.

Are you studying or working at Wintec?

The on-campus Wintec Health Services teams are available to assist and support you with your physical and mental wellbeing.

Wintec Health Services is a nurse-led practice. This means that our nurses are specially trained to provide you with a high level of care.

When you make an appointment with the Health Services, you will speak to or have an appointment with a nurse who will assess your needs, provide health care and/or book your time with a doctor.
