Health Services Covid-19 update

Alert Level 3 operating information

Areas of Waikato, including Hamilton, are now operating at Alert Level 3. To check the boundaries, please click here.

We are here to support you, but please do not come into the Hamilton City clinic. The city clinic is operating during this period, however, with locked doors. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm. The Rotokauri clinic is closed.

For all appointments or queries, please phone 07 834 8869 or email.

No face to face appointments will be available without being triaged by a Nurse or GP first. Alternative appointment methods will be offered to patients – ie telephone consultations.

Phone 07 834 8869 for all appointment requests, medical advice and repeat prescriptions. Repeat prescriptions will be faxed to a pharmacy of your choice.

If you are registered with us, we will support your health needs from wherever you are now based in the country. We will be able to make sure you have the medications you need and connect you with one of our nurses by phone for advice.

Thank you for your patience and understanding; take care and stay safe.

Kia ora, are you studying or working at Wintec?

The on-campus Wintec Health Services are available to assist and support you with your physical and mental wellbeing.

Wintec Health Services is a nurse-led practice. This means that our nurses are specially trained to provide you with a high level of care.

When you make an appointment with the Health Services, you will speak to or have an appointment with a nurse who will assess your needs, provide health care and/or book your time with a doctor.

All Wintec students can register with us, meaning we will become your primary health care provider. Registered students then pay subsidised rates for doctor or nurse services.

Find out how to become a registered patient by popping into either the City or Rotokauri clinic or contacting us using the details below. We recommend registering before your first appointments we will have enough time to receive medical records from your previous medical clinic.
