What happens once I’ve submitted my application?
We’ll assess your application against the entry requirements for the programme you’ve selected. We may need some additional information from you, if we do we’ll contact you with the details.
There are some programmes that require additional information and sometimes additional forms to be completed. You need to send these items or complete the additional forms to us as quickly as possible. You can email additional documents to us at email@example.com (include your name or student ID in the subject line).
Can I get Transfer of Credit for my previous study?
If your programme includes a module similar to one you’ve taken before and is at the same or a higher level, you may be able to have these credits recognised. This can reduce the number of credits you need to obtain to complete your programme.
You will need to fill in and return an Application for Transfer of Credit, we will also need a verified copy of your final and official results from your previous study and course descriptions/content of each of the modules you are looking at applying for Transfer of credit
You should apply for Transfer of Credit as soon as you can when you apply for you programme of study.
How do I go about re-enrolling?
If you are ready to re-enrol, there are two ways you can do this. Either by completing an online application www.wintec.ac.nz/apply or, alternatively, call into the Student Enrolment and Information Centre and we can print off a returning student form for you, all you need to do is to make sure all your personal details are up to date and we can make the relevant changes. Write in your chosen programme, sign, and date the back of the form. It's as easy as that!
