Bree Baker

Kia ora, I have been an early childhood teacher in the under-twos room at Kidz@Wintec for two and a half years. Before gaining full-time employment here, I was a relief teacher for six months.

My mum, Lisa, manages the centre and has greatly inspired me. I see how much she loves this job and her passion has really rubbed off on me. In my opinion, one of the most rewarding things about working with tamariki is watching them grow and seeing their little personalities come through.

I love going to the beach and spending time with my family outside of work. I’m a family-orientated person. I love going on spontaneous trips with my friends; one of my friends who used to work here has a little baby, so it always makes the trips just that much more fun!
