Pacific Pipeline 2026

Pacific Pipeline_Event banner

"Wayfind Your Future" - our 2026 event draws on the Pacific navigator tradition: our ancestors crossed vast oceans not by accident, but by reading the stars, the wind, and the waves. Pacific Pipeline invites our rangatahi to bring that same courage and cultural intelligence to their tertiary journey.

On behalf of Oire Pacific, along with Wansolwara (Pacific Staff Forum) and Lumitugetha (Pacific Student Leaders), we are excited to invite Pacific secondary school students in Years 11–13 and their whānau to Pacific Pipeline 2026.

This is a morning grounded in Pacific cultures, Pacific values, and community. It is a space designed by and for Pacific people, where learners can explore their future pathways and feel at home at Wintec.

This event is especially for students who would like to:

  • Talk with current Pacific students about their journey at Wintec
  • Meet Pacific staff who are here to support their aspirations
  • Connect with kaiako from the programmes they're interested in
  • Experience a welcoming space grounded in Pacific cultures, values, and community

Whānau are warmly welcome. Pacific Pipeline is designed for families, not just students. Parents, grandparents, aunties, and uncles are encouraged to come along, see the campus, enjoy the shared lunch, and ask their own questions.
