Rā Whakamarama | Rotokauri Campus Orientation 2026

Join us for Orientation Day at the City Campus! This fun and welcoming event focused on supporting your wellbeing and helping you thrive this Semester 2. Meet other ākonga (students), enjoy free kai, explore support services, access exclusive discounts, and get answers to any questions you might have about life at Wintec. 

Designed to help you feel confident, connected, and ready for the semester ahead, orientation runs from 11am to 1pm, so feel free to come along whenever suits you. Make connections, grab some freebies, and discover the people, services, and opportunities that can help you thrive throughout your study journey.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs) 

  • Can I bring someone? Yes! Support people and friends are welcome. 
  • What if I need accessibility support? There will be wheelchair access throughout all our spaces. If you need more support, please contact us beforehand or talk to a Wintec staff member on the day. 
  • What if I feel overwhelmed? There will be hangout areas and dedicated quiet spaces available for you. If you need support, look for one of our friendly staff members wearing a brightly coloured vest.  
  • Do I need to be there for the full event? No, our Orientation Day events are organised so you can come and go as you please. Browse stalls, join the giveaway, meet people, and grab free kai whenever suits your schedule.
