Open Day Tōia Mai 2022 is a great chance for you and your whānau to get a better idea of what life is like studying at Wintec.
Are you a future student, whānau member, or part of the community that wants to have a look around? Wintec Open Day is an annual public event held across both the Wintec City and Rotokauri campuses on Friday 26 August, from 9am to 1pm.
Potential learners have the chance to come on-site to meet our academic and support staff, seeing first-hand what Wintec can offer. Throughout the day, team members from our different study areas will be there showcasing their areas, discussing future career options and answering questions, one-on-one if needed, to help people make decisions about their future.
There will be interactive activities, free kai, live workshops, and campus tours. Our online Future You
tool will be available providing course and career solutions best suited to you and your personality from providers around the country and you can discuss results instantly.
Waikato schools are also invited on campus, with travel organised for some regional communities, giving our secondary students a hands-on experience. With an extensive range of subject areas to explore, this aims to take the guesswork out of study decisions, help choose the right career, and discover study paths for 2023 and beyond.
For current students, Wintec is home to New Zealand’s only Design Factory
, where students can unlock their problem-solving and innovation skills. Design Factory NZ is located next door to the Atrium and offers various learning experiences to prepare for the future workplace.
With more than 130 courses and qualifications
from entry-level foundation studies to degrees, postgraduate and masters’ qualifications in many specialist fields, don’t miss this excellent opportunity to experience what Wintec offers.
