Riding the exponential wave of change with Kaila Colbin

What do nanotechnology, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, and robotics have in common, and more importantly, what do they have to do with you?

More than 100 guests joined Kaila Colbin, Singularity University's New Zealand Ambassador at a free event at Wintec recently. They got a startling look at the dramatic implications of exponential technologies and some insight into how we might prepare for this dynamically changing world. 

Kaila Colbin is the New Zealand Ambassador for Singularity University. She is also a co-founder and Chair of the non-profit Ministry of Awesome, Curator of TEDxChristchurch, Chair of the New York-based Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, Deputy Chair of CORE Education Ltd, a board member of Canterbury Development Corporation Holdings Ltd and a Certified ExO Consultant with ExO Works. 

Guests also got the opportunity to preview Wintec’s IT Postgraduate suite of programmes, meet staff and network with key contacts in the IT field.
