Career Guidance Workshop
Are you unsure of your career journey options? Do you need some advice on what your next step could look like? If so, this is the workshop for you!
This course is not designed for International students. If you are an international student interested in this area please contact the International Centre.
This free programme provides students with a solid foundation for getting started in tertiary education.
The programme covers a wide range of topics, from writing essays to managing time as a student. Wintec has some fantastic resources, and we are committed to helping students access them.
There are two different courses offered by either Student Learning Services (WTCE303,) or Te Kete Kōnae (WTCE301). Both courses offer similar content on a number of topics including: assignment writing, referencing, using the library and digital resources, how to manage study and time in an academic setting, and much more.

2020 programme dates: 21-24 January 2020 (Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and 14-15 February 2020 (Friday evening and all day Saturday).

Wintec extends a warm invitation to all new students to attend a Pōwhiri to welcome the semester ahead. After formalities, light refreshments will be served in the marae dining room, Te Kōpū Mānia o Kirikiriroa, Wintec City Campus.
