Ramp Gallery welcomes Julia Christey, a contemporary artist from Kirikiriroa, Hamilton who is currently completing her Master of Arts (visual art/painting) at Wintec School of Media Arts.

This free programme provides students with a solid foundation for getting started in tertiary education.
The programme covers a wide range of topics, from writing essays to managing time as a student. Wintec has some fantastic resources, and we are committed to helping students access them.
This is offered in conjunction with Student Learning Services and Te Kete Kōnae. Topics include assignment writing, referencing, using the library and digital resources,
how to manage study and time in an academic setting, and much more.

You are warmly invited to attend the official welcome to Wintec for all new students, staff and whānau (family) at either our marae, Te Kōpū Mānia o Kirikiriroa or Rotokauri campus. The pōwhiri is a welcoming ceremony involving mihimihi (speeches), waiata (singing), and will conclude with kai timotimo (light refreshments). Please gather at the campus hubs, and a staff member will guide you through our pōwhiri.
