About

Kia ora, my name is Reina, and I am a Kaiāwhina from Te Kete Kōnae (TKK), a part of the student experience team here at Wintec.

My role is to provide students with non-academic support with things like financial assistance, accommodation support, emotional support and encouragement, or just a listening ear at times when you might feel overwhelmed while you are studying.

I understand that as a student, your life outside of Wintec carries on and that sometimes those challenges impact your studies. It is my job and passion to help you through these times. Regardless of how big or small the situation may be, please do not hesitate to contact me. If I cannot help, I will point you in the direction of the other support services we also offer at Wintec like academic support, counselling and health services, scholarship information, and career support.

You can find me at the City Campus Hub in the Te Kete Kōnae office on Tuesdays and Fridays 9am-4pm and at Rotokauri Campus Monday 1pm-4pm and Wednesday to Thursday, 9am-4pm. You can also contact me via email.

I hope your time here at Wintec is a happy and safe one. Please feel free to say hi if you see me around. Mauri ora!
