We offer a diverse and exciting range of trades, engineering, and built environment programmes at various levels. Delivered at our Rotokauri Campus in our purpose-built training centre, you will gain exposure to an extensive array of up-to-date equipment and workshops to gain hands-on practical skills that ensure you graduate ready to thrive in the workforce.

Our trades courses cover automotive, mechanical, electrical, building and construction, plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying.

New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil)

This programme is for those who want a career in engineering. Students will learn theory and practical skills using technology in our engineering labs. The Bachelor of Engineering Technology is accredited by the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ). As a mechanical engineering technologist, you will design and give advice on the building and repair of machines and tools.

Automotive Engineering 3

Students in this course gain valuable hands-on experience working on a range of vehicles. They spend four-days-a-week on campus participating in variety of projects. They are encouraged to find industry work experience for the fifth day to practice the skills gained in class. Students learn to test and diagnose procedures, study fuel-injected motors, and work with vehicles, trucks, and test equipment.

This course is a managed apprenticeship programme where students study part-time towards becoming qualified while working in a full-time job. Students are supported by a licenced builder gaining hands-on knowledge and practical skills required to succeed in the construction industry.
