The purpose of this module is to introduce sciences of anatomy and kinesiology as they relate to physical activity, sport and exercise. Anatomy is the study of the structure of the body and kinesiology is the study of the movement of the body. Both disciplines are fundamental to the study of exercise science, coaching and sporting performance.
