- 1. Analyse clinical reasoning underpinning planning and evaluation of nursing practice in mental health and addiction settings, informed by lifespan considerations and holistic care approaches. 2. Critically examine the neurobiological, psychosocial, and pharmacological underpinnings of mental health and addiction conditions in tangata whaiora and the experience and impact of living with such on the individual, whanau and community. 3. Critique and apply hauora models of health in mental health and addiction services. 4. Analyse the implementation of cultural safety within mental health and addiction settings.

- The portfolio is comprised of multiple components. To pass this module, students must meet all learning outcomes and gain a minimum mark of 50% in each component.
