Learning Outcomes: 1. Demonstrate proficiency across a range of production tools

Content: • Structure and processes of video camera and handling techniques
• Studio and exterior lighting strategies
• Sound recording.
• Postproduction sound.
• Postproduction editing skills.
• Documentary production.
• Screen industry analysis
• Communication with a range of cultures including Maori
Assessment Criteria: The portfolio comprises multiple components. Students must complete all assessments and gain an overall mark of 50% in order to pass this module.
Teaching and Learning Strategy: Blended – methods will involve online activities, portfolio, tutorials, lectures, workshops, group activities, guest speakers, field trips, critiques, collaborative projects, as appropriate
