Prescription
The aim of this module is to refine students' knowledge of performance, culminating in the realisation of a performance at concert standard. Students will develop a substantial repertoire and demonstrate an enhanced degree of interpretation, independence and confidence as a performer. Students will negotiate their own aims, objectives and repertoire for the project, and the criteria upon which the work will be assessed.

- Assignment 1 Project Synopsis (Background study, process and analysis)
-The project as determined and agreed between the tutor and the student
Assignment 2 Mid-year Performance
-The performance will consist of a minimum of twenty-five minutes of music or five pieces of music and are to be performed in contrasting styles/genres at an appropriate performance level.
Assignment 3 Final Recital Performance
-The performance will consist of a minimum of forty-five minutes of music or eight pieces of music and are to be performed in contrasting styles/genres at an appropriate performance level

Assignment 2 Mid-year Performance 20 percent
Assignment 3 Final Recital Performance 60 percent
To pass this module students must complete all assignments and accumulate an overall module mark of no less than 50 percent.
