Prescription
This module aims to develop writing skills to meet academic needs of students at a CEFR high B2 level. They will expand skills in writing clear, detailed texts, synthesising and evaluating information and arguments from a number of sources on a range of academic topics.

Learning Outcomes
Write using detailed connected texts to express and analyse opinions on an academic topic.
Write a clear, well-structured researched text on a complex subject appropriate to academic purpose, content and audience.
Write a description of a process or visually presented information such as graphs and/or tables.

-grammar control to communicate effectively with few errors even when complex structures are attempted.

Assessment Criteria
The portfolio is comprised of multiple assessment tasks, not tests alone. To pass this module, students must attempt and pass all assessment tasks.
