The purpose of thios module is to develop knowledge of cultural heritage and awareness and analyse its application within the context of wellness and personal care. Knowledge of Maori, Pasifika and Asian cultural treatments and ceremonial traditions associated with wellness and personal care are developed as well as an understanding of Maori, Pasifika and Asian cultures and their values and how this applies to the beauty and spa industry.
