1.Articulate an area of professional practice in relation to a specific population using health,
education or social care services

2. Undertake a critical inquiry to evaluate field specific knowledge as evidence for practice

3. Demonstrate competence in scoping a project and undertaking data base searches for
published information

4. Establish and negotiate an effective working relationship with an academic supervisor

5. Present a synthesis of the findings of the critical inquiry as recommendations for
professional practice

Teaching and Learning Strategy
Teaching and learning methods will involve directed learning activities through a supervision relationship. Students will be required to attend an initial workshop to introduce the requirements for the module. An online learning site will support learning activities for this module.
