-Influential site conditions on natural, or semi-natural plant communities; soil, climate, topography, plant and animal pests, human influences
-Modified natural plant community, reasons for degradation
-Site conditions influencing revegetation; soil, topography, climate, existing vegetation, animal effects, human effects
-Goals of revegetation; enhanced wildlife habitat, biodiversity, enhanced amenity values
-Site improvements needed; weed control, animal control, shelter, perimeter protection
-Site comparisons, selected versus less degraded; site conditions, improvements, limiting factors
-Local authority and community consultation on revegetation program
-Plant species requirements identified, local provenance plant source
-Revegetation strategies; planting, encouraging natural regeneration with minimal planting
-Program documenting; site preparation, revegetation, maintenance
-Plant material supply organisation; provenance, propagation method, plant type, species, container type, time

Teaching and Learning Strategy
