1.Prepare area for planting according to workplace procedures.
2.Plant out plants according to workplace procedures.
3.Complete post planting operations according to workplace procedures.
4.Care for newly planted plants for a period of at least eight weeks according to workplace procedures.
Content
- Site and soil/media preparation suitable for intended use, use of appropriate planting equipment
- Application of soil amendments at appropriate rates.
- Selecting and preparing plant for planting
- Planting in required planting position
- Selection, preparation, use and monitoring of equipment for planting
- Maintaining plant health, before, during and after planting
- Recognizing, rectifying, and/or reporting plant problems and anomalies.
- Selecting and installing plant anchorage or applying support systems
- Removal and disposing of waste from site, treatment or recycling
- Cleaning and maintaining planting equipment
- Maintaining records
- Selection, preparation, operation and maintenance or equipment used for ongoing plant care, covering; watering, shoot management, weed control.
- Monitoring and maintaining an optimum environment for plant growth,
- Maintaining plant care records.
