- 1.Prepare area for planting according to workplace procedures.
2.Plant out plants according to workplace procedures.
3.Complete post planting operations according to workplace procedures.
4.Care for newly planted plants for a period of at least eight weeks according to workplace procedures. - Content
- -Site and soil/media preparation suitable for intended use, use of appropriate planting equipment
-Application of soil amendments at appropriate rates.
-Selecting and preparing plant for planting
-Planting in required planting position
-Selection, preparation, use and monitoring of equipment for planting
-Maintaining plant health, before, during and after planting
-Recognizing, rectifying, and/or reporting plant problems and anomalies.
-Selecting and installing plant anchorage or applying support systems
-Removal and disposing of waste from site, treatment or recycling
-Cleaning and maintaining planting equipment
-Maintaining records
-Selection, preparation, operation and maintenance or equipment used for ongoing plant care, covering; watering, shoot management, weed control.
-Monitoring and maintaining an optimum environment for plant growth,
-Maintaining plant care records.
