The aim of this module is to provide students with the practical skills to perform a range of chemical reformation services, including application and neutralising, as an emerging stylist to industry standards and timeframes. They will also learn the competencies to perform client consultations, recommendation of hair care products and will be able to positively contribute to the profitability of a salon relevant to performing a range of chemical reformation services.

- Assessment in this module is mixed mode. To pass this module all assessments must be submitted and an overall pass mark of 50 is required. Students must also meet all the requirements of the competency-based assessment tasks. The final grade will be based on the marks from the achievement-based tasks.
- Teaching and Learning Strategy
- Practical, theoretical, face to face, and E-learning including; lectures, tutorials, discussion, group activities, self-directed learning, practical workshops in training salons, inquiry-based learning, and project-based learning.
