Prescription
This module is designed to develop students' practical and appreciative knowledge of contemporary painting practice. The student will explore contemporary approaches to representation in Painting. The work of figurative painters will be analysed and discussed, and conceptual frameworks surrounding figurative painting will be applied. The student will extend approaches to the generation and development of ideas and will reflect critically on the context in which their work arises.
