- May include, but not limited to, an appropriate selection from the following topics:
Pre-tender requirements and documentation: tender methods - pre-registration, sole source, invited, public. Contract types. Client requirements - format, timing, distribution, and people involved. Documentation assembly - invitation, conditions/special conditions of tender, conditions/special conditions of contract, drawings, specification, and tender forms. Tender period and timeline.
Tender evaluation: receipt of tenders, treatment of late tenders. Tender evaluation - validity/compliance, tags listed, special conditions, rates/percentages/profit margins, analysis of sub trades and identified anomalies, clarifications as required, tender negotiation, reporting, ranking.
Post-tender administration process: Post-tender administration - tender acceptance/decline. Legal - bond, formal agreement, and contract signed sets.
Construction and post-construction administration process: documentation - drawings and register, consents, certificates, health and safety/environmental management plans. Site establishment. Administration - monitoring, systems for instruction, reporting, claims, variations, fluctuations, protocols. Contract completion - commissioning, producer statements, warranties/guarantees, extensions, inspections, certificates, final accounts. Post-construction documentation - as-built drawings, equipment dossier, maintenance schedule, producer statement and code compliance certificate. - Teaching and Learning Strategy
- Learning activities for topics may typically include practical/workshop, case studies lectures, tutorials, field trips, group work, visiting specialists, computer simulations, web technologies, and self-directed learning.

- A portfolio is a compilation of evidence presented by the student in ways that demonstrate their acquired knowledge, competencies and capabilities. The contents of students' portfolios may include evidence of achievement from assignments, projects, tests, formative assessments, and peer assessments, self and group assessments.
