Competition Terms and Conditions 

Entry Requirements 

Competition Date: Wednesday 4 March and Friday 6 March 2026 

To be eligible to enter, you must: 

• Attend Rotokauri or City Campus Orientation and complete the survey 

• Agree to these Terms and Conditions 

• Be a current student at Wintec 

• Not be a Wintec staff  

Entry Deadline: 1.00pm, Friday 6 March 2026 

Prize Details 

The prize is an Amazon Echo Show 5. 

Winner Selection and Notification 

• A winner will be randomly selected by a Wintec representative by 13 March 2026 

• The winner will be notified by email 

• Winner must confirm acceptance of the prize by return email within three working days 

• If the prize is not accepted within this timeframe, an alternative winner will be selected 

• Prize to be collected from City Campus or Rotokauri Campus 

Competition Rules 

• Each eligible participant will receive one entry only, regardless of the number of forms submitted 

• The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into 

• Prizes cannot be exchanged for alternatives or redeemed for cash 

• Wintec accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, equipment malfunctions, or circumstances beyond our control that may affect your ability to enter or complete the competition 

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wintec will not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury arising from competition entry or prize acceptance 

Participant Acknowledgements 

By entering this competition, you acknowledge and agree that: 

• Wintec may contact you by email for competition purposes 

• Your personal information will be provided to Wintec 

• This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Amazon 

• Wintec may use your name for marketing purposes related to the competition (such as announcing winners on websites, newsletters, or promotional materials) 

• You waive any claim to royalty, rights, or remuneration for such use 

Wintec's Reserved Rights 

Wintec reserves the right to: 

• Modify these Terms and Conditions as reasonably necessary without notice 

• Amend, extend, or discontinue the competition at any stage 

• Substitute the prize with an alternative of similar value if unavailable 

• Refuse to award the prize to any entrant found to have violated these Terms and Conditions, gained unfair advantage, or used fraudulent means 

Privacy 

All personal information collected will be managed in accordance with Wintec’s Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions.
