LO 1: Describe and apply basic understanding of efficient, effective, and quality processes within an engineering workshop.

LO 2: Explore a variety of engineering manufacturing processes and explain comparisons between new and old technologies.
Efficient and effective workshop procedures:

- Time management and measurable outcomes
- Trade practice
- Lean manufacturing (internal / external customer’s needs
- Identification and elimination of wasteful processes

Assessment Criteria
This course is assessed using competency assessment. Aakonga must complete and submit all summative assessments in order to pass and receive credit for this course. The listed unit standards are optional and are not required to pass this course.
