2. Cut, bend and tie reinforcing.
3. Place and finish concrete.- Content
- Concrete Foundations (LO1):
?Foundations include concrete and concrete block
?Formwork includes stud and sheathing, shutters and proprietary systems
Reinforcing (LO2):
?Cut &/or bend mesh, starters, bars,
?Tie mesh, starters, bars, links
Placing concrete (LO3):
?From barrow, chute, pump
?Finishes includes broom, trowel, edging to that which a carpenter would typically do. - Assessment Criteria
- The portfolio is comprised of multiple components. Students need to pass all components of the portfolio and provide sufficient evidence against all learning outcomes in order to pass this module.
