1. Develop searchable questions about sport and sport/event management from real
situations/challenges in the field
2. Locate and evaluate best available evidence to answer the posed questions and resolve
situations/challenges in the field
3. Understand the role of policy in sport and sport/event management
4. Identify, utilise and apply a systematic approach to developing relevant policies for the
sport/event setting

Teaching and Learning Strategy
Teaching will involve blended delivery methods incorporating the Moodle online delivery platform. Other delivery methods my involve theoretical and practical classes, face to face, lectures, tutorials, workshops, group activities, guest tutors, field trips, role-play, and video conferencing, as appropriate.
Assessment Criteria
Candidates must achieve a minimum C grade pass overall from all assessments to receive a passing grade for the module.
