What's it all about?
This course is for entry level cookery skills where the student will practise a range of pastry items.
Basic pastry: short, sweet, choux, filo, puff.
Over the 5 days in our training kitchens the student will prepare and cook items such as fruit flans, quiche, chocolate eclairs.

In 2020, other than the previously listed courses and tasters, we may have the capacity to be able to provide schools with support in a more flexible way to suit a particular STAR programme.

What to bring/wear?
Students will be working in our trainee commercial kitchens, they must wear long pants, have leather topped shoes, hair is to be tied back, no facial jewellery or other jewellery to be worn.
