What is it all about?
This course is for entry-level cookery skills where the student will practise a range of pastry items.
Basic pastry: short, sweet, choux, filo, puff.
Over the 5 days in our training kitchens, the student will prepare and cook items such as fruit flans, quiche, chocolate eclairs.
What to bring/wear?
Students will be working in our trainee commercial kitchens, they must wear long pants, have leather-topped shoes, hair is to be tied back, no facial jewellery or other jewellery to be worn.
