What's it all about?
Let's get wet! Prepare for a day of canoeing in 2 person Canadian canoes. We will teach paddle strokes, boat control and deep water rescue techniques, equipment care and safety management. We will then apply these on a short trip in the afternoon.
What to bring / wear?
You will need
- Thermals and swimwear
- A change of clothes and a towel
- Morning tea, lunch and a drink
- Windbreaker (Not cotton)
- Wetsuits are good but optional
Wintec will provide
- Canoes, paddles etc.
- Buoyancy Aids
- Transport to and from venue
