What keeps you busy outside of work?

Rowing, I am currently coaching the Kiribati Sculler for the World Junior Rowing Championships in Tokyo.

What do you enjoy most about being a tutor?

Watching students develop and gain confidence over the course of their study. They leave as different people to when they arrive. 

What is your experience in the industry?

In my capacity as a mental skills consultant, I have worked with many sports over the years.  These include Athletics NZ, whom I attended the London Olympics with, five years with NZ Wheelchair Rugby, NZ Diving, equestrian, Magic netball and Waikato University Hillary Scholarship programme athletes.  But my greatest passion is rowing, I have coached at NZ Universities, NZ U21s, Waikato Rowing Performance Centre, Waikato University and at clubs here and in England.
