I am a teacher in the arboriculture department at Wintec | Te Pūkenga. I have been teaching in this field for over five years and practising arboriculture for over ten in varying positions and locations in New Zealand and Tasmania.
I'm a keen cyclist, casual AFOL and supporter of the Sydney Swans Australian football team.

What do you enjoy about teaching/your job?
It is very rewarding to see the students grow their skills and knowledge and become capable of contributing to the arboriculture industry. I really enjoy learning from students and teaching colleagues who bring their knowledge and experiences to the education environment.
What do you love about your area?
The Hamilton Gardens is a fabulous environment for learning and research. It is a beautiful and picturesque place to work with highly esteemed colleagues and engaged learners.
Tell us about your experience in the industry
I have worked for private electric networks and local government arboriculture companies. Industry experience and relationships have enabled me to help our students find work and achieve their goals.
