About
Before Wintec, Brent spent three years as a Horticulture Consultant, three years at Palmers Garden world in nursery management, and four years operating his own landscape business for residential and commercial clients.
Brent has spent four years as the EIT Horticulture Program Coordinator for our Level 3 Diploma. He has also spent seven years as a horticulture tutor, regional training manager, and national business moderator.
Brent has worked in horticulture since his appointment in 2017 and has been the Wintec representative for the horticulture centre at health and wellbeing expo’s and has been the Wintec representative on the PrITO review committee for General Horticulture (Level 4) strand in Amenity (2020).

What do you enjoy about teaching/your job?
Supporting and guiding students in their amenity horticulture studies to achieve their educational goals. Helping students gain employment opportunities or pathway into our amenity industry.
I love developing new programmes in horticulture and seeing success for both our students and our horticulture industry.
