Summary
This one-year course will help you develop your technical knowledge, as well as your practical skills relating to many aspects of building and the construction industry. Our graduates go on to become carpenters, builders, project managers, and much more.

Career/further opportunities
Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to work as a labourer or an apprentice. With additional training and/or experience, they may go on to further roles in the construction industry such as carpenter, plasterer, painter, or roofer. They may wish to register as a Licensed Building Practioner.

General admission
There is open entry to this programme although you must demonstrate a reasonable likelihood of success.
English language requirements
Candidates who have English as a second language are required to have an International English Language Test System (IELTS) score of 5, with no individual band score lower than 5; or equivalent.
