Programme Regulations

These regulations should be read in conjunction with the Institute’s Academic Regulations, clause 2 General Programme Regulations.

Schedule of Modules

To be awarded the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Civil), a candidate must successfully complete the required 240 credits and meet the following requirements:

  • All common compulsory modules must be passed;
  • All Civil discipline compulsory modules must be passed;
  • The remainder credits are taken from civil elective modules but must include 45 credits at level 6.
