They will also learn essential health and safety skills required by industry; and how to read and draw construction plans, measure, and survey.

Students will attend class four days a week (Monday-Thursday). Two or three of these days will typically be spent working outside on landscape building. Alongside class time, students will also undertake self-directed study from home.

All tools will be provided by Wintec, however students will need to provide their own safety boots and wet weather gear.
