Midwifery

You will be the go-to for women during pregnancy, labour, birth and for several weeks after. You will provide support and advice during one of the biggest milestones in a woman’s life. As a midwife your days will be spent educating women on pregnancy, birth and parenting, organising and discussing ultrasounds and blood tests, referring to other specialists when necessary, prescribing medication for labour, examining and caring for newborn babies and advising on breastfeeding, immunisations, contraception and general mother and baby health. Are you passionate about the theatre and feel at home on the stage? Take your performing arts skills to the next level with the Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts at Wintec. Register now to audition and secure your place in 2025.

Our Performing Arts students work on musicals, plays, cabarets, devised theatre, and screen acting while honing their craft in:

Acting techniques
Voice and singing
Movement and dance
Show production and creation

Auditions are a component of entry into the Bachelor programme along with the academic requirements of entry. This is an opportunity to complete your enrolment audition, meet with our talented tutors, and take the first step towards a transformative journey in the world of theatre.
