Take a step towards the career you have always wanted.

We offer over 130 courses and qualifications at a variety of levels. From entry-level foundation studies that help you prepare for study; to hands-on technical training in vocational subjects (such as trades, horticulture, cooking); diplomas and degrees in a broad range of subjects (such a nursing, physiotherapy, social practice, science, business, information technology, media arts, and sport science); and postgraduate and master's qualifications in many specialist fields.

If you are unsure of what you want to become or study, contact us today on info@wintec.ac.nz. We have trained professionals here to help guide you to the right course. Are you unsure of your future path or looking for a career change? Or, do you need some advice on what your next step could look like? Our Career Guidance Workshop can help you plan your current or future career journey.

A career is defined as your work journey – a job undertaken for a significant period of a person's life and with opportunities for progression and evolution.

This whānau-friendly event will guide you to discover potential career options for your future. At this workshop we will help you:
  • Uncover your acquired career skills, values, and interests.
  • Learn what to expect when studying for the first time or returning to study.
  • Discover the different Wintec programmes available to you.
  • Understand different funding and financial support options available (fees-free, scholarships and StudyLink).
