About
Kia ora koutou.
My name is Kate Reynolds and I am the Liaison Librarian for the Centre for Health and Social Practice. In this role, I ensure we have a range of relevant resources available for your research needs. I also teach research, referencing and other information literacy skills, I will come into some of your classes and you can also meet with me individually to get some support with your assignments. You can book an appointment via email, Calendly, either campus information desk, or through your tutor.
My various qualifications include a Master's in Library and Information Studies, a BA(hons), and a TESOL qualification. My work experiences have mainly been within academic libraries and teaching English as another language. I am passionate about the library-related skills of learning, research, and information literacy. I love promoting these skills and using my experiences of studying, working in libraries, and English language teaching to help Wintec students; it is a privilege to be part of their learning journey. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey too.
The Library offers a range of study spaces, we can help you with finding resources, using the Library systems, APA referencing, and we offer a wide range of both print and online resources, and online help guides. Check out the Library’s webpage and feel free to come in and meet our friendly library team.
