Student Learning Services
We build student academic capability through a range of services including: study skills courses, generic workshops, in-class workshops, embedding (in-class student support), group appointments, pre-booked appointments and drop-ins. In addition, students who require short and long term support due to a disability or a learning difficulty, should contact our Disability Coordinator.
Academic topics can include:

Free Writing and Study Skills Course Registration
This FREE course is designed to help prepare for success.
Are you new to study, or still considering your options? Or do you want to brush up on your existing skills?
Any one of our courses will set you up with a solid foundation to help guide your journey.
Each course will cover a number of topics: Assignment writing, Referencing, Using the Library and digital resources, how to manage your study and time in an academic setting, and much more!
Te Kete Kōnae courses are held within a Maori and Pasifika style.
